Strawberry Sunday

Just so you know, I am so filled-to-the-brim with belly-dance ju-ju that I will be finding it VERY difficult to find juicy strawberry moments o' loveliness that aren't belly dance related this week...

I LOVE this song. I LOVE Rachel Brice. That's all.

This is my gorgeous belly dance teacher, Akasha - she is freakin' incredz. I don't think she knows it, but she has literally changed up my life by intro-ing me to all things Tribal Fusion. It makes me so freakin' happy! Can't think of anyone cooler to learn from...

I went to my first hafla at The Art House last night - AMAZEBALLZ. Not only did I get to watch kick-ass actual belly dancers, but I got to dance with them too. I am still on a belly-dancing high from it all - gorgeous talented girls, amazing music, REALLY yummy food, dancing and laughter - if that's not the most perfect way to spend an evening, I don't know what is. Fact.

Me practicing my moves for the beau who couldn't come along last night...

My new inspir-o girl is Midnight Iris, I met her last night, and not only is she incredz at all things belly-dance - I was totally mesmorised watching her - she rocks the burlesque too. In fact, I'm going to to her burlesque class this arvo, I am going to become a dancing-girl o' awesomeness.

In unrelated belly-dance strawberry moments...

I've had some real heart-tug moments with the young people I work with, they really reminded me why I do what I do this week!

AMAZING work opportunities have been landing in my inbox this week - hurrah for Mercury finally going direct!

I spent an entire afternoon of loveliness with my pregnacious bestie, Aimee - I LOVE her. I love her bump.

I've started the next book in the SASSY series - hurrah!
